My work resides in the threshold of reality and what we would call 'fiction'. With sculpture and painting, I look at abstraction, impressionism and surrealism as a means to translate the invisible, the energy of an instant in time, the aura of a human body, or the invisible tie that connects us with nature.

Each piece begins as an intuitive search, responding in kind rather than planning. I am influenced by the natural world: textures and forms found in nature, as well as personal experiences that turn into visual metaphors. My practice is a translation in paint of sensation, capturing what lies beyond the physical world.

For me, nature is simultaneously a subject and a mirror of the inner landscapes we inhabit, as well as the unseen forces which flow around us. It is through this lens that I aim to make spaces that are meditative, connecting, and miraculous, reminding us of the quiet yet strong threads that connect all living beings.
